Our dispute resolution and litigation team provide both Mediation and Litigation services for clients.

Mediation:

Bill DeGaris is a trained mediator and has either acted for clients at mediations or acted as mediator for a wide-ranging number of disputes. Bill has been involved with over 100 mediations over the last 13 years. We can provide full advice on preparing for mediations in matters ranging from Family Law to complex Commercial matters. We can, if requested to do so, act as professional mediators for all types of disputes.

Litigation:

We have experience in conducting major litigation. Bill DeGaris was involved in the 1983 Ash Wednesday Bushfires litigation which took 12 years to resolve. We have also acted for clients in wide-ranging commercial disputes including building disputes, farming disputes, estate disputes and other commercial disputes.

Whilst we encourage parties to seek to resolve issues through alternative disputation methods such as mediation, if maters can only be resolved by taking them to Court then our litigation team will advise thoroughly in preparation of your case.
