Bill graduated with LL.B. in 1976 and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Mediation in 1996. Apart from a short time practising in the firm Wallace DeGaris & Co, Bill has operated his own practise from Millicent and Mount Gambier and practises in South Australia and Victoria. Involved in several major pieces of litigation including the infamous Copping trial, and several foreign currency loan trials, he also represented over 40 clients with compensation claims in the "Ash Wednesday" bushfires of 1983. Some of these matters did not resolve until the mid 90's. Bill is an experienced mediator and also has an interest in Corporate Governance as it applies particularly to incorporated associations and Boards. He operates BoardVision a corporate governance consultancy.

Bill is the practice principle, and heads up the commercial, estate planning, wills and estate administration sections of the practice.In our current society, Will and Estate Planning is a dynamic exercise. We take particular care to advise our clients about their Wills. We ask for full financial and family information. Wills for partners in second and subsequent relationships are often complex and difficult to plan. We suggest a number of techniques and a combination of specialist estate planning methods to assist all clients achieve their succession goals.
